• Elderly - 

  • Rebridge Wellbeing Hotline 0208 708 5555. Register to set up a weekly call to check in. 9am-5pm 7 days a week.

  • Age UK’s Silverline on 08004708090. It’s 24/7 confidential support.

  • Local food delivery services listed here - many take cash and phone orders.

• Financial difficulties/can’t afford to pay for shopping -

  • Redbridge Food Bank can be contacted on 0208 518 0056. They will need to be referred to get a voucher.

  • Redbridge Wellbeing Hotline offer food parcels to those who are struggling and can put them in touch with other council services as needed. 0208 708 5555. 9am-5pm 7 days a week.

• Domestic Violence - 

  • Encourage them to report it to the police on 101 or 999. 

  • Refuge runs a 24/7 support line on 0808 2000 247 and can advise on how to escape and put individuals in contact with local shelters and refuges.

• Difficulty with getting shopping/online delivery - 

  • We have a directory of local services who are willing to deliver, and in many cases take cash or payments over the phone/internet. Find it here. 

• Mental health difficulties - 

  • Confidential advice and support can be found by calling Samaritans on 116 123, and the Redbridge Council Mental Health Direct line on 0300 555 1000. Both of these are 24/7.
